Chemical peels have long been used in medical and cosmetic dermatology to improve skin texture, reduce discoloration, treat specific skin diseases, and achieve a healthier, more youthful appearance. We are proud to bring a newer, and in many cases better, option to Stockton and Lodi, CA. The Microlaser peel allows precision removal of surface layers of skin. It is a highly customizable treatment, which can be adjusted for pigmentation problems, keratosis, scars, wrinkles, and more. It achieves exceptional results with minimal downtime.
How Microlaser peeling is different
Traditionally, microdermabrasion and laser resurfacing have been the standard alternatives to chemical peeling. However, microdermabrasion only removes the outermost layer, 5 to 10 microns deep. It is gentle and usually involves no downtime, frequent sessions may be needed to maintain results. At the other end of the spectrum, laser skin resurfacing is more aggressive. Microlaser peels are ideal for anyone seeking considerable skin improvement with minimal downtime.
What to expect
Topical anesthetic is applied 30 to 45 minutes prior to the procedure, and we offer a Zimmer Cooler, (which you can adjust the airflow of) to ensure your comfort. A couple of days after the procedure peeling will begin, and healing should be complete within three to seven days, depending on the depth of the peel. After that, you can enjoy the benefits of beautiful, healthy, rejuvenated skin.
Microlaserpeel are appropriate for patients of all skin types, and a wide variety of skin concerns. It is an excellent treatment for:
