What is J-Plasty procedure?
J-Plasty is a new procedure that is used for tightening the skin. It can be used in various areas such as the face, lower face, neck, body, and is used for tightening the arms.
How is the procedure done?
It uses something that is called the J-Plasma which is a relatively cold plasma.
It is an ionized helium and the little wand that applies this plasma is put between the skin and the fat, and it tightens the skin visibly.

Before the procedure
Prior to the procedure, we recommend that you stop using any products containing aspirin or other over-the-counter pain medicines, except Tylenol. Also discontinue garlic consumption, vitamin E, ginseng, and green tea as all of these products can increase the risk of bruising.
The J-Plasty Procedure
The J-Plasty is performed in the office under local anesthesia. The face J-Plasty begins with 3 tiny openings under the chin and behind each ear. Invisible, long lasting absorbable sutures are placed under the skin to produce a natural long-lasting lift of the neck and lower and mid face. Then the J-Plasma applicator is inserted under the skin and cold plasma energy instantly tightens and rejuvenates the skin. The improvement is visible immediately and continues to progress as healing occurs.
Post Treatment
It is normal for your skin to feel a bit tight and sore after the procedure. Usually Tylenol can control the mild discomfort. You will wear a facial compression garment for 72 hours. Mild swelling and bruising can last one to two weeks but most people can return to their normal activities three to five days after the procedure.
